Classes
There are currently 10 classes offered in Seattle and surrounding areas. Most classes accept beginners as well as experienced dancers. Click on a class for more details. It is always best to contact the teacher to ensure the class is being held that day.
Note: Branch classes offer discounted rates for RSCDS members (discount applies to members of any RSCDS Branch).
Caledonians (Mon)
Meets Mondays, 7-9pm at Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Avenue North, Room 2.
U-District – Branch (Tue)
U-District class meets on Tuesday evenings from 8:00 – 10:00 pm. The class welcomes all levels of dancers.
The class will be held at Open Flight Studio (4205 University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105)
West Seattle – Branch (Tue)
The West Seattle class is held on Tuesday evenings, 7-9 P.M. at the Fauntleroy Church, 9140 California Ave. SW, in the chapel.
The class is family-friendly, welcoming dancers ages 8 and up, regardless of dance experience. Partners not required. Convenient to RapidRide C line and parking in the church lot also available.
Bellingham (Wed)
Bellingham classes are held on Wednesdays in 6-week sessions from September through May at the Fairhaven Library, 1117 12th St., Bellingham.
Registration is through the Bellingham Parks and Recreation Playbook.
Burien (Thur)
Classes are held at Burien Community Center, 14700 8th Avenue SW, Burien. Class meets on Thursdays from 5:45-7:00 pm. The class is geared towards beginners but welcomes dancers of all levels.

Phinney – Branch (Thu)
The Phinney Center class meets on Thursday afternoons 1 – 3 pm at the Phinney Neighborhood Center, 6532 Phinney Ave. N, Seattle, Room 2 in the upper (blue) building.
The class welcomes everyone regardless of dance experience. Partners not required.

Alger (Fri)
Alger classes are held on Friday nights from 7:00-9:00 pm from September to June (except for holidays and inclement weather). The classes are held at Alger Community Hall at 18735 Parkview Lane in Burlington.
We welcome dancers of all levels. No partner necessary. Soft soled shoes are required in the Hall.
Lacey (Sat)
Classes are held on Saturdays from 10:00-11:30 am at the Ovation at Oak Tree Recreation Center, 3205 Bowthorpe Ct SE, Lacey. This class is ongoing and does not break during the summer.
Mount Vernon (Sat)
Mount Vernon class meets the second Saturday of the month from 10 am – 12 pm at the Littlefield Celtic Center, 1124 Cleveland Avenue, Mount Vernon. All levels of dancers are welcome.
Tacoma (Sun)
Classes are held on Sundays from 3:00-5:00 pm at St. Luke’s Memorial Episcopal Church, 3615 Gove St., Tacoma.
